One major celebrity is now making headlines for a surprising reason. Mark Cuban, the media mogul, and billionaire businessman just opened up about possibly challenging President Donald Trump for the nomination in 2020.
Cuban has been an outspoken critic of President Trump. He even went on record on a number of occasions to criticize President Trump and to show his support for Hillary Clinton.
“Cuban said he believes the next president needs to be someone who has comprehensive knowledge of the issues facing America and is able to relate to the average American, something he says he could do, yet Trump has failed at,” according to one report.
Mark Cuban also opened up about his own personal beliefs and his views on being “fiercely indent” when it comes to politics. However, Cuban says he would challenge President Trump for the Republican nomination, a shocking new move.
“Because I think there’s a place for somebody who is socially a centrist but I’m very fiscally conservative but I think there are better ways now to make government smaller than the old traditional Republican ways,” Cuban said, before explaining that future candidates must know the impact technology will have on the American marketplace.
When asked how serious he was about the possibility of running, Cuban gave a pretty serious answer. On a scale of 1-10, with 10 being a definite run, Cuban said he is right now at a four. He will only run if he believes he has real solutions to problems facing our country, read a report from The Blaze.
