Little Girl TERRIFIED Of Police During Traffic Stop; Here's What The Officer, Dad Did

After seeing numerous news reports of police shootings lately, a 7-year-old girl in the Dallas area was terrified of police. That fear truly came to light when her dad was pulled over by an officer.

According to WFAA 8, Mikylie Harris' dad Michael was pulled over with his two daughters in the car. While her dad was conversing with Officer Mike Collins, Mikylie woke up and was convinced Collins was going to hurt her daddy.

"She's seen a lot of stories on the news and one time she asked me why black people and white people are killing each other, I didn't know what to say," her dad explained. "I don't want her to feel that way about police."

After both Michael and Collins did what they could to calm the little girl, the officer gave her a tour of his police car and let her play with the lights.

"It meant a lot to see him take the time," Michael said before thanking the officer again on Facebook.

Collins replied, "It was priceless. Hearing 'Thank you for doing your job' meant so much."

The thank-you came despite the fact that Michael still got a ticket. The dad said it was worth it to teach his daughter something important.
