Shia LaBeouf, 31-year-old actor, was arrested in Georgia around 4:00 AM Saturday morning, July 8th of 2017. He was reportedly taken into custody after seen being extremely intoxicated in public.
According to TMZ, he was booked for ‘disorderly conduct, obstruction and public drunkenness.’ LaBeouf was also arrested for alcohol-related incidents in the past including drunk driving back in 2008, drunken behavior in 2014, and public intoxication in 2015. TMZ released the actor’s mugshot. See the photo below.
In addition to his troubled pattern of alcohol-related incidents, LeBeouf was arrested earlier this year after assaulting someone at his anti-trump ‘He Will Not Divide Us’ exhibit in New York, reports Page Six. Since Trump announced he was running for office, the actor has been very vocal about his negative opinions towards Trump.
‘He Will Not Divide Us’ was a live stream, which recorded members of the public who were against President Trump saying the words, ‘he will not divide us.’ According to the website, the project is meant to ‘show of resistance or insistence, opposition or optimism, guided by the spirit of each individual participant and the community’.
Prior to LaBeouf’s heavy involvement in politics and drunken rampages, he was a very well-known actor, especially for his star role in the ‘Transformer’s’ movies. He also played in ‘Disturbia’, ‘Eagle Eye’, ‘Wall Street’, and many others.
Shia has now been released on a $3,500 bond, according to TMZ. What do you think about this? Share your thoughts in our Facebook comments. Thank you!
