KFC Just Invented Something The World Never Needed, And It's Going Like Hot Cakes

KFC just invented something the world never needed, yet it's going like hot cakes. What is it?

Fried chicken scented sunscreen.

According to USA Today, the fast-food chain released 3,000 tubes of KFC Extra Crispy Sunscreen as part of a limited-time promotion, and they were promptly snatched up.

An over-the-top commercial for the sunscreen plays like an April Fool's joke, but the ad announcer insists, "It's definitely real and definitely not edible."

If you were hoping to get a bottle of the SPF 30, it may be too late. KFC says they have no plans to sell the product, but perhaps that will change after seeing how popular it is.

There have been no indications if the bottles come with a warning: "Don't apply on skin while in bear country."

Earlier this year, KFC launched chicken-flavored edible nail polish in Hong Kong.
