It has been reported by Breitbart that Kathy Griffin, in an appearance last week on an Australian talk show, remarked that President Trump is a Nazi. She also expressed her opinion that Trump supporters are "psychos" and absolutely "nuts." Griffin remarked that she is scared of President Trump, saying that she is "scared of that guy."
"I was under a two-month federal investigation for taking a picture of a mask. Yes, I’m excommunicated from my own country, so I’m here doing a world tour. We have to make fun of him because he is so ridiculous and dangerous."
She then went so far as to call Trump a Nazi, saying that Americans should not be so skittish to throw around such outlandish labels about their political opponents. Indeed, according to Griffin, if somebody disagrees with their political opponent then they should be willing to label them a Nazi with no concrete facts to back up such an accusation.
"And I actually have known this fool," she continued. "I am going to call him a moron and also a Nazi. Americans are like skittish about calling him a Nazi, but he is a Nazi. There’s a Nazi in the Oval Office. I just have some news for you so heads up.”
She continued, “He’s just a big liar, and he is awful, and everybody should get rid of him soon. I don’t mean violently. What I mean is vote him out.” "These Trump folks self-identify as deplorable, like as if that is a good thing They are psychos. They’re nuts."
To end her comments, Griffin issued an apology for all the supposed "nuts" and "psychotic" people in America.
"I’m here to apologize. I’m sorry we have put this guy on everybody else’s lap. I don’t know what’s happening in my own country.”
Griffin caused a public upstir earlier this year when featured herself with a decapitated head of President Donald Trump. She announced that she wanted to make a political statement, but the vast majority of Americans on both the left and right were horrified and offended by the gesture.
She later released an apology and took the video down. She was then fired from her CNN annual co-hosting position on the New Year's Eve special. The Secret Service, following procedure, then opened an investigation into the incident.
The celebrity then remarked that she feels horrible about featuring herself with what appeared to be a decapitated and bloody head of President Trump. But then she said that she will continue to speak up for herself and for others. Even when apologizing for the photo, she continued to criticize Trump as a "nut job."
Griffin then retracted her apology. She said that she was "no longer sorry" and that the entire situation was "blown out of proportion." She claims that Trump supporters should simply let the situation go and that her photo was less offensive than President Trump's actions as President of the United States.
