Frank Gifford was a man of many talents. He was Pro Football Hall of Famer. Frank played running back, wide receiver, and defensive back for the New York Giants and won an NFL championship in 1956. After he retired from playing football, he went on to an emmy winning and legendary career as a broadcaster in the sporting world as well as hosting the “Wide World Of Sports”.
Frank died this past Sunday from natural causes at age 84. In his passing, God received another strong man of faith into heaven.
Frank and his wife Kathie Lee Gifford were faithfully married and devoted to each other for nearly 30 years, and in the wake of her immense sorrow, she posted this on her Facebook page: “Deeply grateful to all 4 ur outpouring of grace. We r steadfast in our faith & finding comfort in knowing where Frank is. Phillippians 4:13”
Phillipians 4:13 is a verse that is beloved by many: "I can do all this through Him who gives me strength."
Kathie and the rest of the Gifford family could really use our prayers right now for comfort and peace. Will you post a prayer for her and her family? Thank you so much!
We hope that you find comfort and strength in the verse as well.
