Just As Concerning As Obama's Comments to Islamic Society Was Choice Of THIS Mosque

President Obama spoke to the Islamic Society of Baltimore yesterday with a speech that was very blatantly targeted at America in general, rebuking it for linking terrorism to Islam (see 5 VERY CONCERNING Things Obama Said In His Speech To Muslims Today).

But just as concerning was the president's choice of venue: a mosque. Not just any mosque, though. Brietbart points out that in Obama's first visit during his presidency to an American mosque, he selected one that was led for more than a decade by an Imam with ties to Al Qaeda.

Mohamad Adam el-Sheikh is a past member of the Muslim Brotherhood and, in 2004, gave an argument justifying some cases of Palestinian suicide bombing. He was also a founding member of the Dar Al-Hijrah mosque near D.C. that was at one time led by Anwar Al Awlaki, an Al Qaeda terrorist and U.S. citizen so dangerous that he was targeted and killed by an American drone strike. Furthermore, the Dar Al-Hijrah mosque has also been linked to terrorist that played major roles in the Sept. 11 attacks, the Fort Hood shooting, and the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

Why do you think Obama selected this particular mosque to speak at? What message do you think he might have been trying to send?
