Singer Joy Villa is well-known for her outrageous outfit ensembles at the annual Grammy Awards ceremony. In years past, she walked the red carpet in homemade dresses designed with orange construction fencing and black spikes.

Her most infamous outfit to date was last year’s stunning “Trump” dress, which she debuted at the 2017 Grammys shortly after Trump won the 2016 presidential election. Her silky and glittered red, white, and blue dress that read “Make America Great Again” made national headlines for weeks.

This year, Villa made another bold statement on the red carpet regarding her stance on abortion. The Trump-supporting singer rocked a white wedding gown with a hand-painted fetus outlined in Rainbow colors. The outfit was completed with a matching white purse that had the words “Choose Life” displayed on the front.

At no surprise, Villa faced criticism over the dress. On Monday morning, Villa appeared on Fox News to respond to the criticism.

She assured, “[The criticism] makes me keep going. When you tell me 'stop, go away,' I want to do it even more because this is a message that needs to get out."

“There’s a lot of young girls out there that don’t know adoption is an option,” she continued. “I’m not putting any hate against other people who chose other ways, but I’m personally pro-life. I think that needs to be represented in an area that’s, frankly, hostile towards that [belief].”
