Secretary of State John Kerry has a history of saying questionable things and he has taken his shtick to a whole new level during a visit to Bangladesh.
Todd Starnes reported that Kerry addressed the issue of terrorism, only it wasn’t the issue of terrorism itself. Instead, Kerry complained that the media was spending too much time talking about it.
“Remember this, no country is immune from terrorism,” Kerry said. “It’s easy to terrorize. Government and law enforcement have to be correct 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. But if you decide one day you’re going to be a terrorist and you’re willing to kill yourself, you can go out and kill some people. You can make some noise. Perhaps the media would do us all a service if they didn’t cover it quite as much. People wouldn’t know what’s going on.”
So, Kerry’s plan to fight ISIS and reign in the terror that is spreading across the world is to simply ignore it and make the people believe that nothing is happening and everything is alright? That sounds eerily similar to the way Obama is handling the police officer killings back home in America.
