Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions believes that the FBI should be investigated for the way they have handled the investigation in Hillary Clinton’s email scandal.
Jeff Sessions along with many Americans finds it incredulous that the FBI would make an immunity deal with Cheryl Mills who was Hillary Clinton’s aide and legal counsel as well as being a suspect in the case in which classified information was found on her laptop. “She should not be treated as a legitimate lawyer,” Session said. “She surely had a conflict of interest. As it is understood in the Common Law, attorney-lawyer privilege protects communications between a lawyer and his client. But, there are limits on the privilege, so that it cannot be used to obstruct an investigation into a past or ongoing crime.”
In addition to the unprecedented deals in which the FBI agreed to investigate only a small particular time frame in the life of Hillary’s private email server debacle, the FBI also agreed to destroy Cheryl Mill’s laptop after conducting their severely limited investigation. “I really don’t see how Congress can issue a subpoena for records and they then destroy those records,” Sessions said.
Prior to becoming a Senator, Sessions was an attorney for the Department of Justice. According to Breitbart, Session’s experience tells him something about the way the FBI handled the case is extremely fishy. “I am telling you that every business knows that if they get a subpoena for business records, and they destroy those records, they are subject to criminal prosecution and will be prosecuted,” Sessions said. “That’s a high prosecution case.”
Do you agree with Sessions that the FBI should be investigated over for the handling of the Clinton email investigation?
