Ivanka Trump has long been famous and successful as an independent business woman and working mother. However, since her father became President of the United Staes, Ivanka has become a household name.
With such news coverage and popularity naturally, comes harsh critics. After her father took office, a boycott was started to stop potential consumers from purchasing any product from the Ivanka Trump collection.
The boycott, though, has proved to be extremely unsuccessful. Some people even think the boycott helped to promote Ivanka and her brand.
"Since the beginning of February, they were some of the best performing weeks in the history of the brand,". "For several different retailers Ivanka Trump was a top performer online, and in some of the categories it was the [brand's] best performance ever." Explained Abigail Klem, the president of the Ivanka Trump fashion brand.
Klem also went on record with Refinery29, saying the recent success for all things related to Ivanka is breaking records.
"It's unprecedented with this brand is dealing with," said Klem.
With haters and critics aimed at tearing down Ivanka Trump, it appears they were actually giving her a platform that was even bigger than before.
