Is Amazon Really Opening Physical Stores to Replace Companies They Ran Out of Business?

With numerous retailers shuttering a large percentage of their locations and other companies closing down all-together due, in part, to competition from, rumors abound that Amazon will be opening their own brick-and-mortar stores to replace the ones we’ve lost.
