Yes, it has happened again! One of the nation’s largest automotive manufacturers has just issued a major recall for one of America’s most popular pickup trucks.
Ford Motor Company has just announced they are recalling 140,000 F-Series trucks. The recall is in response to defects with the airbags and seatbelts.
The recall is limited to brand new trucks. Included in the recall are the 2017 F-150, 2015-17 F-150 Crew Cab, 2017 F-250 and F-350 Super Duty Crew Cab trucks.
“Ford is also issuing a safety compliance recall for approximately 141,000 2015-2017 F-150 Crew Cab and 2017 F-250 and F-350 Super Duty Crew Cab vehicles to inspect and, if necessary, replace the left rear inflatable seat belt assembly,” according to news reports.
At this time, Ford is not aware of any accidents or injuries caused by this error. However, they are still being proactive in protecting their customers.
