Tim Tebow recently spoke at Northside Christian Church in Fresno, California. In his speech he pointed to a time when a stunning realization occurred in him that made him realize just how much of a plan God had for him.
One of the many things Tebow is known for is writing bible verses on the eye-black that he wears during his football games. He did it to honor God, but it had a much larger impact than he ever imagined.
After a game, a public relations officer asked Tebow, “during that game, did you realize that 94 million people googled John 3:16?’ And honestly my first thought was ‘how in the heck do 94 million people not know John 3:16…”
Tebow was shocked to learn just how much of an impact that God has allowed him to have. “What a big God that we serve,” Tebow told the audience. “I’m out playing a silly game, and I put these things under my eyes and it’s amazing what God can do.”
