How Kathie Lee Connects With Her Husband, Frank, Through Jesus

Celebrating the holidays after the loss of a loved one can be especially hard. It's the time when you remember all the fun things you did together, and the time when you especially crave their closeness.

This is the first Christmas Kathie Lee Gifford will spend without her husband Frank. After nearly 30 years of marriage, the beloved football legend tragically died at 84 years old. In the days right after Frank's death, Kathie Lee showed great respect for him in the way she honored his life and gave a moving invitation on national television to accept Jesus, as her husband had.

This Christmas, Kathie Lee is staying close to Jesus to feel connected to her husband. She told E Online, "Every day I start my day with my Lord Jesus Christ. It's the way I live every day and I end it. My husband is with Him, and I know that with all my heart," she says. "People don't understand that you can rejoice and grieve at the same time. I rejoice that my husband is there in a beautiful place and I miss him."

Does that touch your heart? Have you lost a loved one and the wound is opened during the holidays? Let our community know so we can pray for each other in the Comments! Thank you! And feel free to post a prayer for Kathie Lee and her children this Christmas!
