On Monday in Missouri, a man was charged with the murder of a toddler and her two parents after police found their bodies buried beneath trash and blankets.
According to Fox News, the victims have been identified: Samara Fontaine Kitts, 23, her 24-year-old boyfriend Harley Michael Million, and their 17-month-old daughter Willa Fontaine Million.
The person being held in custody and who already confessed to the crime is a man by the name of Drew Atchison, 24, of Williamsville. He was charged with three counts of first-degree murder.
The description of the murders is appalling. According to authorities, Atchison fatally stabbed the two parents on Thursday at their home in Wayne County. Then he loaded the bodies into Million’s truck, but not before locking the toddler in a room with dogs overnight.
The next day, he returned to the house in an attempt to destroy the evidence of his crime. He then kidnapped the toddler, drove her to a neighboring county and after disposing of the knife used in the stabbing deaths, he then fatally shot the little girl.
After he murdered the toddler, he placed her with her parents and proceeded to bury all three bodies under blankets and trash. A day after family members notified the police that they hadn’t been seen in a few days, their bodies were found.
The motive for the murders is still yet to be determined.
Though Kitts and Million were not married, relatives described them as “amazing parents to Willa.”
Please pray for the extended family during this difficult time, that God will bring healing and understanding. In recent news, the British Royal family has their own WhatsApp Group Chat.
