Honor And Tradition Passed From Grandfather To Granddaughter Through Salute

Honor and tradition was passed down through the generations recently when retired Staff Sergeant of the US Marines, James Williams delivered the first salute to his granddaughter, 2nd Lieutenant Charlotte Williams at the National Museum Of The Marine Corps

The pride of Charlotte's grandfather was on full display as he stood across from her and snapped his hand to his head.  She returned the salute and completed the exchange with full reverence and respect.  So much was said between the two with only few words and a simple action.
