After President Trump promised the U.N. that America would strike back at North Korea if Kim Jong-un launched an attack on the U.S. or its allies, the totalitarian leader wrote a letter in response. And what he wrote prompted the most ridiculous political statement out of a Hollywood celebrity ever.

In what the New York Times believes to be the first ever statement directly from Kim Jong-un to the world, the dictator said that Trump “made unprecedented rude nonsense one has never heard from any of his predecessors.”

He also called Trump’s behavior “mentally deranged” and condemned him as a “gangster playing with fire.” After giving another threat, he said he would tame the U.S. president “with fire.” For some liberals, it was music to their ears.

“Uhhhh. Kim Jung's letter to @realDonaldTrump is a little bit more sane than @realDonaldTrump. Maybe we trade?” actress, comedian, and liberal activist Chelsea Handler wrote.

Her proposal that America would be better off with Kim Jong-un as our leader was met with some agreement on Twitter, but other commenters were quick to point out the absolute absurdity of her words.
