Et tu, Hilton? Hilton was one of the hotel chains that blocked pornography in their rooms, so you would think they care about the family. But no. In a latest ad, Hilton shows two men in bed together, reports the Christian Post. The ad is in a magazine, Travel and Leisure, that can be found in doctor's offices and auto repair shops, so it is concerning and offensive to conservative parents.
The American Family Association (AFA) has set up a petition against the hotel's ad that now has more than 45,000 signatures urging Hilton to "market responsibly." AFA said, "If Hilton had advertised two men playing tennis, cards, or having lunch, that would have been reasonable. However, Hilton chose to make a cultural and social statement by purposely marketing the promotion of homosexuality to a large segment of the population who finds the idea of two men sleeping together unnatural and offensive."
Hilton's explanation to the ad was that it is a "global company of diverse cultures serving diverse guests...We are proud to depict and reflect our guest diversity in our advertising…"
What do you think of the ad? Would you want your children seeing it? Let us hear your reaction in the Comments! Thank you!
