Students from East Catholic High School stood up for God and faith in a recent, powerful and inspirational video. The video has gone viral, leaving many conservatives proud of these high schoolers’ brave stance for our country.
In response to a Senator’s comment years ago, “Where is God in all the tragedy in the world?”, these students provide the public with an answer. Their response: ‘We told God to leave...We decided He’s not welcome in public, on TV, in schools…’
The video begins with an important message, “The secret of Christian living is love. Only love fills the empty spaces caused by evil.” Throughout the rest of the video, students hold up pieces of paper with messages that promote public prayer instead of 'prayer shaming'. They also encourage those of all faiths to be unashamed of their beliefs.
The video was shared in December of 2015, but still holds a very relevant and significant purpose today, especially given the recent terror attacks and differences in America following Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential election win.
