Fox News reports that Chip and Joanna Gaines recently shot down divorce rumors on Twitter. Despite alleged rumors, therefore, don’t expect the “Fixer Upper” stars to break up anytime soon.

A concerned fan posted to twitter Friday about rumors that the couple is splitting up. Perhaps because they are a high profile Christian couple and suspected to be social conservatives, it has become popular in the media to spread divorce rumors about the couple.

Chip Gaines responded, “Won’t ever happen… you can take that to the bank! #LoveOfMyLife”

In particular, Gaines was responding to a Twitter user who wrote, “I am so sick of these stories claiming @joannagaines and @chippergaines breaking up. Leave this couple alone they are wonderful together.”

Despite being a busy working couple with a popular television show featured on HGTV, the couple’s marriage and children remain at the top of their priority. Currently, the couple has four kids: Drake, 12, Ella, 10, Duke, 9, and Emmie, 6.

According to US Magazine, the stars met in 2003 when Joanna was working in an auto shop owned by her dad. Chip, who had only seen a photo of her displayed in the shop, reportedly knew he wanted to marry her one day just by gazing at the picture. They eventually got married and remain so to this day.
