Here's What Tad Cummins Told Police As They Slapped Handcuffs On Him

Police are now reporting what Tad Cummins told them after they arrested him at a remote cabin in northern California on Thursday.

"He did make a couple of spontaneous statements. He said he was glad the incident came to an end and he was relieved," said authorities from the Siskiyou County Sheriff's department.

"He made several comments that he wasn't going to cause any altercation with law enforcement," they continued.

They also noted that Tad said he was aware of the manhunt in place to catch him.

"He said he had seen the flyers that said he was armed and dangerous, said he was armed but in no way dangerous and said he would fully cooperate with law enforcement."

Did Tad's statements surprise you? Did you expect him to give up so easily?
