“Pretty soon you won’t be able to get guns,” Trump told CNN on Monday morning, “It’s another step in the way of not getting guns.”
President Obama is expected to unfurl new gun control regulations as part of a series of executive actions. Obama took it upon himself to pursue gun control measures as an executive action because he does not have the support of congress or the majority of the American people.
In anticipation of the new executive regulations, Trump reiterated his belief that more guns in the hands of law abiding citizens makes for a safer society. “If the people in Paris had guns, you know what, you wouldn’t have had 134 people and many more to follow get killed,” Trump said, “And if people in California had guns, a couple of guns in that room, you wouldn’t have had 16 people killed.”
Trump also spoke out on what a gun free zone means to him. “Whenever I see a gun-free zone, that’s a flag for the whackos to come in and start shooting people.”
