A restaurant in Washington D.C. is suing the Trump International Hotel because, according to them, it's "unfair competition", reported the Washingtonian.
The Cork Wine Bar is located a little over a mile from the Trump Hotel. Since President Trump has taken office, their sales numbers have declined.
An attorney for the Cork Wine Bar says that "visiting foreign leaders, diplomats, government officials and lobbyists are going to the property owned by President Trump's family to curry favor and influence in the Trump administration."
The wine bar used to be a very competitive spot in town, until the Trump Hotel opened on Pennsylvania Avenue, making President Trump the only man with two addresses on the world famous power street.
The Cork Wine Bar representatives simply blame the President for their decline in revenue and bookings.
Is this crazy or what?! Just because a new business opens up, that happens to be one of the most luxurious and prestigious hotel accommodations in the world, doesn't mean it's the President's fault.
Time to rethink your menu and decor, Wine Bar.
