Walter Becker, American guitarist, passed away on Sunday at age 67. Many considered Becker to be a musical legend in the Rock and Roll genre.

Currently, his cause of death is unknown, but it could be related to a recent procedure. According to the New York Times, he was recovering from a procedure earlier this year, but was hoped to make a full recovery.

Becker was most well-known for being the co-founder of the band “Steely Dan,” which was conducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, according to the Rolling Stone. Donald Fagen was the other founder of “Steely Dan,” as well as the keyboardist and lead singer.
