Guitarist Dead at 50, Leaves Behind a Wonderful Legacy

Dave Rosser, guitarist, has passed away at age 50 after losing a battle to colon cancer. Rosser was a member of the group, ‘The Afghan Whigs’, an American rock band.

Rolling Stone reported the sad news, mentioning that the band previously notified fans about Rosser’s colon cancer diagnosis in October of 2016. In support of their friend, they performed various concerts to raise money for medical purposes.

‘The Afghan Whigs’ announced Rosser’s death via Facebook. Their post stated, “It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our friend, brother and inspiration. Dave Rosser passed away peacefully last evening surrounded by love. Thank you to all who kept him in their hearts. He is forever in ours.”

 

Many fans and loved ones also took to social media to express their condolences and honor Rosser’s legacy.
