In Bulverde, Texas on Wednesday H-E-B has announced that they're issuing a precautionary recall of ground beef sold at an H-E-B Plus store, reported by Kenz5 News.

This store issued a voluntary recall of ground beef sold at its H-E-B Plus store in Bulverde.

HEB Grocery Company, LP, also known as HEB Grocery Stores, is an American privately held supermarket chain based in San Antonio, Texas, with more than 350 stores throughout the U.S. state of Texas, as well as in northeast Mexico.

The recalled beef includes fresh ground chuck 80/20 and ground brisket chili meat packaged on Styrofoam trays with a sell-by date of 9/26/2017 12:30 p.m. through 6:03 p.m.

The company says that there is a possibility of metal in the product, which is why they are issuing a precautionary recall.

No illnesses have been reported as of yet.

The company stresses that this recall is only for the particular H-E-B Plus! in Bulverde.

Customers who purchased the product can return it to the store for a full refund. Anyone with any questions or concerns can contact H-E-B Customer Relations at 1-855-432-4438.
