Franklin Graham Gives His Opinion on the Democrats' Show of Prayer for Wounded Republicans in Shooting

On Wednesday, a group of Republicans were shot at when practicing for the upcoming Congressional Baseball Game. The shooter has been identified as James T. Hodgkinson, 66, from Belleville, Ill., who is anti-Trump. He shot at least 5 people, including Steve Scalise, the majority whip of the House of Representatives.

But many Democrats showed amazing care and support for their fellow congressmen by gathering together in prayer. Here, Franklin Graham commends the show of unity, but as you'll see below in the Comments, not everyone feels the same.

Some thought the gesture was hollow, as Democrats have increasingly been more and more hostile towards things having to do with God--at least the God of the Bible.

But others empathized with Graham's desire for bipartisan unity and a nationwide dependence on God, especially in these turbulent times.
