It actually happens a lot. People who don't fully know the Bible (or God!) use vague references to scripture or isolated verses to justify an unbiblical point. Take for example how many use Jesus' words to "judge not lest you be judged" to say that Christians shouldn't say homosexuality is wrong.

Well here, very liberal and not-Christian Nancy Pelosi just tried to use the Bible incorrectly to slam President Trump's pulling out of the Paris climate agreement. Franklin Graham took to his Facebook to call her out and explain what the Bible actually teaches about stewardship of the world.

"The Bible tells us that to minister to the needs of God's creation is an act of worship," Pelosi said, reports Newsmax. "To ignore those needs is to dishonor the God who made us, and that is just what we are doing by walking away from this accord."

Pelosi talking about honoring God and His creation comes in violent contrast with her total support of abortion--which is killing God's most beloved creation. Graham rightly calls her out on this, saying, "I hope Nancy Pelosi will be concerned about what really dishonors God—and that is sin."

What do you think of Pelosi's misuse of the Bible and Graham's point that she should focus on what God actually views as sin? Share your thoughts in the Comments! Thank you!
