Conservative talk show host Sean Hannity has been getting a lot of flak from the left for discussing the theory that Democratic National Committee staff member Seth Rich was murdered because he leaked DNC e-mails to Wikileaks.

Fox News recently retracted their story suggesting the theory was true, according to the New York Times, but Hannity refused to retract anything he’s said on the matter himself.

He did, however, say Tuesday night that “out of respect for the family’s wishes — for now — I am not discussing this matter at this time.”

But advertisers have been dropping Hannity’s Fox News show over the dust-up. Hannity says it’s an attempt by progressive to silence him, according to the Huffington Post.

Now New York magazine has reported that Hannity has taken a “sudden vacation,” choosing to take his planned trip earlier because he’s “fleeing.”

But Variety reported on Thursday that Hannity is not having his show cut, according to 21st Century Fox executives.

21st Century Fox said in a statement, “Like the rest of the country, Sean Hannity is taking a vacation for Memorial Day weekend and will be back on Tuesday. Those who suggest otherwise are going to look foolish.”

Fox News’ former top-rated TV show host Bill O’Reilly lost his job with the network while on vacation in Italy in April.
