Jimmy Fallon, comedian best-known for hosting the “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” for Saturday Night Live, is a well-known Trump critic. Since President Donald Trump was elected, and even prior to election day, the show has consisted of many skits targeting members of the Trump family.
On a recent show, Fallon targeted First Lady Melania Trump with a “humorous” skit meant to debunk the “Melania body double” conspiracy theory. Previously, a rumor was going around that Melania actually had another woman stand in for her at certain times next to the president, which is of course, not true.
The skit ultimately poked fun at Melania’s communication skills and passions. Fallon pretended to interview the real Melania Trump, which was played by Comedy Central’s Jo Firestone.
Dressed in a wig, tan jacket, and dark sunglasses, Firestone answered questions from Fallon such as, “Where in the White House is the First Lady’s office?” and “What are your three main goals?”
She replied to the question about the First Lady’s office, “It’s is in the attic...that’s where they keep the women, that’s me,” appearing to take a shot at the way Trump treats women.

Despite the laughter roaring from the onset audience, many people were not happy with the skit. On social media, several people commented on the bit’s disrespect towards the First Lady. Others were irritated that Fallon constantly incorporates politics into his show.
