Fired Coach, Players Share IMPACT Of Prayer On The Football Field

After every football game, Bremerton High School coach Joe Kennedy would kneel on the 50-yard line, bow his head, and thank the Lord. Over time, players from his team and the opposing team would join in the prayer of their own free will. That tradition continued at the Washington state school until Kennedy was placed on administrative leave by the district before losing his job entirely.

But a beautiful, heart-wrenching video by The Daily Signal reveals just how impactful his simple, Christian action was to the players on his field and the difference the power of those prayer has made in their lives.

"It's ridiculous how attached you get to these kids. And not to be part of it is...really rough."
