Joni Eareckson Tada, an evangelical Christian quadriplegic woman who has inspired countless people through her books and advocacy, has publicly made her endorsement for president.
According to the Christian Post, the Joni and Friends founder has picked Marco Rubio, saying "American society, as with any nation, is judged on how it treats its weakest members, including the elderly, people with disabilities, and the unborn. It is why I personally support Senator Marco Rubio."
One of Joni's own advocacy efforts was in serving on the U.S. State Department's Disability Advisory Committee.
"On all issues relating to sanctity of life, Senator Rubio is solidly committed to a compassionate social conservatism which lifts up the needy. I strongly urge you to join me in supporting his campaign for U.S. president," Joni said.
Do you see Rubio as a solid advocate for the elderly, disabled, and unborn?
