President Trump has continued to deliver on his promise to combat the illegal immigration crisis that America is facing. His critics try to make it seems that because Trump is cracking down on the lawbreakers that he is somehow against all forms of immigration.
Clearly that isn’t true. President Trump’s wife, Melania, is an immigrant. She just happened to follow the law and immigrate to the country the right way through the proper legal channels.
On Thursday, the Washington Post continued their anti-Trump crusade by very sneakily changing a headline on one of their articles to make President Trump appear to be anti-immigrant.
In the original article, the headline said “Immigrants are now canceling their food stamps for fear that Trump will deport them.”
A writer from the Daily Caller pointed out that the liberal newspaper quickly changed the headline to read “Immigrants are going hungry so Trump won’t deport them”.
The only immigrants that would need to be worried about deportation are the ones that are in the country illegally. That begs the question, why are people who are here illegally given benefits?
Is that why the Washington Post changed the headline? Were they worried about drawing attention to the notion that illegal immigrants are costing the taxpayers even more money? Or are they just trying to make President Trump look like a callous man who wants people to starve?
What do you think?
