Thursday, September 21 marked the last full day of summer. The soft summer breeze will soon shift into crisp, autumn air. Kids have returned to school, leaves are transforming into a warmer color palette, and the promise of snow is just around the corner.

To mark the end of summer, we asked our Faith Family America readers to submit their favorite photo from the summer. Out of the photos submitted, we have chosen ten to display here.

Below are our top ten picks from the photos submitted. Enjoy!

Sue Mitchell: "Moraine Lake in Alberta, Canada. It is, to us, the most beautiful place on earth."

Myra Rogers: "Western NC, Blue Ridge Parkway, blessed to live here."

Marianne Lambert: "My husband seeing our son for the first time in 10 weeks after finishing Basic Training for the Army at Fort Leonard Wood MO"

Kelly Peifer Di Giulio: "Whispering Willows Homestead, Elizabethtown, PA. Myself and my Granddaughter, Faith......hanging out with some of our friends."

Tina Nelson: "Went home to Alabama for a family reunion. It was the first time in 32 years that my 3 sisters and I had all been home together at the same time. This was the view from our cousin's house as the sun set on that beautiful day."

Candy Whitton: "Dock jumping. Dayton, Ohio."

Scott Weyer: "Wild and Wonderful WV!!!"

Art Lupien: "28th year for the Harvest Crusade!!!"

Cindy Binkerd Logan: "Sunset at Bear Lake, UT"

Lori Braun: "Driving across country with my husband after meeting his children for the first time!"

Thank you to everyone who submitted a photo! We loved looking through all of the photos and it was hard to choose just ten. Which of these is your favorite? Let us know on Facebook! Also, be sure to check out our latest article about the gospel song that this award-winning artist performed while in the hospital. It's an amazing story!
