Fans were devastated last year after the “Duck Dynasty” crew announced that the show would not continue after airing on A&E Network for 11 seasons. The American television series followed the Robertson family, who became well-known for their business, which produces products for duck hunting, “Duck Commander.”
The show consisted of brothers Phil and Si Robertson, the head of the family, along with Phil’s sons, daughter-in-laws, and grandchildren. Popular for their conservative Christian family values, long beards, and outdoor activities, “Duck Dynasty” was a favorite among Republican audiences.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, “Duck Dynasty” star Phil Robertson will return to the screen on a new show titled, “In the Woods with Phil” with CRTV, a proud conservative online media company. The show reportedly will “reject political correctness,” as described by Phil himself.
CRTV confirmed the exciting news, releasing the following statement to THR, “Our culture and values are being overrun and progressives are hell-bent on purging traditional values from media. Phil is a Christian and CRTV is proud to have him proclaim from our platform.”
Phil Robertson also released an official trailer on his Facebook page, detailing the outline of his upcoming show. He stated, appearing to be referencing towards the mainstream media’s bias towards liberal views, “If you’re tired of being told what to think, what to say and if you want to hear someone mean what they say and say what they mean, if you want a healthy dose of truth, if you want to hear the name of Jesus without reservation, then I would suggest you come join me—in the woods.”
