President Trump isn’t the only person to body slam CNN (in a meme). This time it’s his son body slamming CNN with words after they threw another punch at his dad.

President Trump was holding a press conference in Warsaw, Poland on Wednesday when he took another swipe at CNN, saying, "They have been fake news for a long time. They've been covering me in a very, very dishonest way.”

"NBC is equally as bad, despite the fact that I made them a fortune with ‘The Apprentice,’ but they forgot that," he also said, according to USA Today.

That’s when CNN’s Jim Acosta, who was at the receiving end of Trump calling CNN “fake news” back in January, decided to hit back on Twitter, writing, “Trump finally held a news conference overseas. But he took a question from a friendly reporter and then attacked CNN as ‘fake news.’ Isn't it a ‘fake news conference’ to take a question from a reporter who is essentially an ally of the White House?

That’s when Donald Trump Jr. body slammed CNN on Twitter, replying to Acosta, “So by that logic, was every news conference for the last 8 years #fakenews Jim?”

Conservatives and Trump supporters have long felt that the mainstream media — especially CNN — have treated Obama with kid gloves as opposed to their harsh scrutiny of everything Trump does. In fact, that’s what a CNN supervising producer admitted to while being secretly filmed by Project Veritas.

“I think there are a lot of liberal CNN viewers who want to see Trump really get scrutinized,” producer John Bonifield explained. “And I think we would have behaved that way with President Obama and scrutinized everything he was doing with as much scrutiny as we applied to Donald Trump, I think our viewers would have been turned off. I think they would have felt like we were attacking him. I think our viewers right now...and I’m not saying all our viewers are super liberals; I think there’s just a lot of them.”

Since early in his presidency, Trump has made it a practice to invite some non-mainstream media reporters into his press conferences in order to reduce the liberal mainstream media’s stranglehold on America’s political news. And CNN, especially, doesn’t like it one bit.
