Melania Trump dazzled as she accompanied her husband, Donald, on inauguration day.
The former fashion model couldn't have looked classier than she did on Friday. Appearing in an all blue dress, Melania had the internet comparing her elegance and beauty to that of another First Lady, Jackie Kennedy Onassis.
According to The Mirror, Kennady "famously wore a pale blue outfit on inauguration day, back in 1961."
They also reported that "A pair of white gloves were Jackie's trademark, and she loved wearing the same color head to toe, particularly blue."
In Melania's case, her dress was custom designed by the famous American designer Ralph Lauren.
“We walked into today with a lot of speculation of different designers she would wear and Ralph Lauren was definitely at the top of the list, but there were also several European designers,” Joe Zee, editor-in-chief of Yahoo Style, said today on “Good Morning America. “I think it would have been a big mistake for her to appear for the first time at the inauguration in a non-American designer."
American's also praised Ralph Lauren for working with Melania after so many designers had publicly boycotted her.
