Disney Chooses Transgenders Over Kids

When Walt Disney started his company decades ago, it was all about family, kids, and fun.  Not so anymore. The media giant now owns numerous subsidiaries, many of which are not so family-friendly.

Take ESPN, for example. Life Site News reports: "ESPN has fired retired star pitcher Curt Schilling from his role as an analyst over a post on his private Facebook account skewering the politically correct position on transgender restrooms."

Schilling posted a picture of a cross-dressing man that read: “LET HIM IN! to the restroom with your daughter or else you’re a narrow-minded, judgmental, unloving racist bigot who needs to die.” He added that the meme was “my opinion, 100% mine, and only mine. I don’t represent anyone but myself here, on Facebook, on Twitter, anywhere.”

ESPN, playing to the growing culture that favors the LGBT cause above all else, swiftly showed Schilling the door.  “ESPN is an inclusive company,” the company said in a statement. “Curt Schilling has been advised that his conduct was unacceptable, and his employment with ESPN has been terminated.”

Traditional Values Coalition president Andrea Lafferty said EPSN's move is an intimidation tactic, for all of us.  “If pressure can be brought to bear on public figures, the intent is to intimidate the rest of the American public into silence,” she said.

In an earlier interview, Schilling said, “No one should have to act or speak or be a certain way for other people to approve. But that’s the world we live in." Now he is paying the price.

How sad that we can't even look to what was once a traditional family company for support for our kids! Where is the morality? We are saddened for Schilling's loss of employment but stand with him in his courage! Do you feel the same way?
