The toxicology report revealed multiple prescription drugs were found in his system at the time of his death. The drugs included Naloxone (Narcan), Butalbital (sedative), Lorazepam (Ativan), Pseudoephedrine (decongestant) and barbiturates, according to TMZ.
Lorazepam (Ativan) is what Cornell's wife originally suggested was the issue. Apparently, he not only took 1 extra tablet, but took 4 total tablets. The report also revealed that the previously discovered track marks were not from needle drugs; they were from medical professionals using Narcan to attempt to counteract Cornell's overdosage of opiates.
Given this new evidence, Cornell's family believes the death was not a suicide, but an 'accidental death'.
Please continue to pray for Chris Cornell's wife, children, fans and loved ones.
