Déjà vu: Trump Makes A Threat That We’ve All Seen Before

Back in September, facing the pressure of the GOP party, Donald Trump signed a pledge stating that he will not run as an independent candidate in 2016.  Fast forward to today, Trump is threatening to do the very thing he pledged not to do.

Trump has taken a beating by the media and leaders of both political parties for his desire to ban all Muslims from entering the United States.  His fellow Republican candidates have taken the chance to call out his misguided statements as well.

The backlash from virtually everyone seems to have offended Trump, who took to Twitter to unleash a veiled threat.

What Trump is quickly learning is that politics is a dirty game, especially during election season.  Your words, plans, and actions will be scrutinized under a microscope by the other party as well as your own.  Running as an independent won’t stop the inquiries and media coverage, it will just ensure that a Democrat is elected president.
