Company Recalls 33,000 Cars After Problem That Can Leave Them Dead On The Road

Subaru is recalling 33,000 2017 Imprezas for a serious problem that can lead them stalled out in the middle of the road.

According to CBS Boston, a fuel problem with the new Imprezas can cause a winter blend of fuel to turn into vapor in the fuel line, making the engines stall.

Worse yet, the stalled out engine may not be able to be restarted again right away, leaving your vehicle dead on the road.

The company has gotten multiple reports of stalling and says dealers will update software in the cars to cause the engine cooling fan to come on at a lower temperature, preventing the problem.

Subaru has not yet published a date for the recall to begin.
