CNN Anchor: Maybe We Should All Wear Hijabs

It was a suggestion so bizarre and pandering that even blatantly leftist Chris Cuomo seemed taken aback by it.

Following a CNN segment aired early Monday morning claiming that Muslim women are being persecuted more now that Trump has won, anchor Alisyn Camerota suggested that “Maybe there will be a movement where people wear the head scarf in solidarity. You know, even if you’re not Muslim."

Cuomo stared at her.

“Maybe it’s the way people shave their heads, you know, sometimes in solidarity with somebody who is going through something,” Camerota added. "Maybe you'll see a wave of the opposite happening."

Cuomo immediately replied, "I think self-defense is good for everybody," tossing her suggestion aside.

Just hours after the broadcast, an 18-year-old Ohio State University student who praised ISIS and threatened to kill "infidels" plowed his car into a crowd and slashed at people with a butcher knife before being shot dead by a campus police officer.
