Is God trying to speak through these intense storms? And if so, what? That is the question many have been asking since the first devastating hurricane in Texas and now this next record-breaking one that moving from the Caribbean to the East Coast.
James Robison is a 73-year-old evangelist and the co-founder of LIFE Outreach International and host of LIFE Today. He recently shared his opinion on what God is doing through these storms.
"God wants to speak to us right now in the midst of the storms" began Robinson in his powerful Facebook video. "With Harvey, with Irma, there is a message we need to hear, here in the United States. We need to hear it clearly. It's urgent, critically important."
Robison went on to say that many would not be able to perceive what God is trying to say through these natural catastrophes, due to being hard of heart. But Robison believes that God is looking for a Good Samaritan spirit to rise up from the American people during these times of hardship.
"When you look at the aftermath of Harvey, which could prove to be one of the most disastrous natural disasters in American history," Robison said of how God was speaking through the storm, "when you look at the love, compassion, courage, personal sacrifice, and dedication, you're actually seeing an undeniable demonstration of what it looks like to love your neighbor, with a Good Samaritan love."
"What are we gonna learn through these hurricanes," asked Robison. "Don't you miss this. The only way we're going to overcome the devastating effect is by coming together. The only way we're going to offset every negative thing that's coming our way is to come together like a family. The family of faith should set the example above and all pray," Robison emphasized.
What do you think of Robison's message that God is looking for America to come together like a family in this hard time? Share your thoughts and prayers in the comments! Thank you!
Billy Graham's daughter, Anne Graham Lotz, just gave her interpretation of the catastrophic events unfolding in America, and her message centers more around God's judgment. Yet many people are agreeing with her. Do you?
