Chip Gaines is best known for hosting “Fixer Upper” along with his wife, Joanna. The pair has become nationally famous after their home renovation show has inspired millions of fans.
Now, Chip Gaines has just revealed what his next project will be. Fans were super excited to learn about his solo venture.
According to reports, the HGTV star is set to release a memoir about his life. Called “Capital Gaines: Smart Things I Learned Doing Stupid Stuff," the book will “delve deeper into Chip’s story and what makes him who he is today.”
“We’re looking very much forward to helping Chip share the personal story behind how they built their business—the guts, the belly-flops, the breakthroughs—with his signature and irresistible mix of humanity and hilarity,” said Daisy Hutton, VP and publisher of the W Publishing Group.
Chip said he hopes that sharing his life lessons will help other people, especially those looking to break into the business world. For those that know Chip, the book is sure to be entertaining.
“I couldn’t be more excited to share some of the experiences (read: DUMB decisions) in my life that have led to some of my biggest breakthroughs in business," Gaines said. "I want people to know that they can take risks in life and achieve what they think is impossible, even with a few bumps in the road along the way."
