The Fixer Upper stars made a big announcement Tuesday, and fans of the couple and their show are sure to relish the news. Joanna made the announcement through Instagram, and suddenly the Gaines’s are in the spotlight again.
Over the summer rumors surfaced involving Chip and Joanna that ranged from whether Joanna is planning to leave Fixer Upper to start a makeup line, to whether their family is expecting a new addition. But the announcement Tuesday is no rumor, according to People Magazine.
So what’s the news? Chip and Joanna have started a new home décor collection to be featured in Target stores across the nation. Starting November 5—just in time for the holidays—fans can purchase home goods that Target is featuring in partnership with Magnolia, Chip and Joanna’s trademark brand.
The home décor line is called Hearth & Hand, and features “a home and lifestyle brand” by Chip & Joanna Gaines. “Built upon our shared commitment to giving back to our communities, these pieces reveal the beauty of everyday moments shared with family and friends,” Target said on webpage announcing the line.
The partnership and the spirit of Hearth and Hand are true to Magnolia form, as the company shares that this line is a way to give back to the community, and to help families in need.
“Magnolia will donate time to help local communities and families in need, as well as provide monetary donations through the Magnolia Foundation to support organizations involved in orphan care, youth development, family housing and community restoration,” the statement said.
Some of the 300-plus items featured will span tabletop, home décor and giftables. Prices will start at 99 cents, and most items will be under $30. Designs will reflect Magnolia’s signature style with modern, classic, industrial and vintage touches, according to Target’s Bullseye View blog.
