Chick-fil-A, American fast food restaurant well-known for their proud display of Christian faith and conservative values, made an exciting announcement recently. Families will love it!
According to the website, Chick-Fil-A will begin testing ‘family style meals’ in a few different cities starting on July 17th. If successful, the fast food chain will eventually sell the family meals nationwide.
The family meals are meant to serve families of 4 and will start at a price of $29.99. Meals include one entree, two sides, and eight rolls. With these meals, comes a variety of food options including new items and items currently sold on their menu. See the options below.
Entrees: 30 chicken nuggets, 12 chick strips, 4 grilled chicken breasts, or 4 fried chicken breasts.
Sides: Bacon baked beans, fruit bowl, macaroni and cheese, salad, waffle potato chips, or a ‘superfood side’ (kale, broccolini, dried cherries, nuts, and maple-vinaigrette dressing).
The meals also reportedly come with a very unique touch: 5 ‘conversation starters’ to give families topics for discussion. How awesome is that?
The announcement comes in response to customer feedback. Chick-Fil-A’s Manager of Menu Development stated, “Our customers told us that they wanted an even more convenient way to share meals at home or on the go, so we worked directly with a group of parents to design every part of Family Style Meals – down to the cutlery caddy that features five unique conversation starter questions to help customers connect over mealtime. Mealtime should be an enjoyable experience that brings family and friends together, not an extra stress in the day.”
Are you wondering if this will happen near you? The selected cities are Greensboro, North Carolina; Phoenix, Arizona; and San Antonio, Texas.
