Comedian and former talk-show host Chelsea Handler, a well-known Trump critic, recently fired at President Donald Trump again in her reaction to the Roy Moore allegations.

The 70-year-old Republican nominee for Alabama is currently facing multiple sexual assault allegations that reportedly occurred when the women were in their teenage years and Moore was in his 30s. Moore has denied all allegations.

Although Trump has previously laid low in his comments on the Moore debacle, on Monday, the president tweeted his support for Moore’s politics and insisted that is crucial he get into office. Trump stated that Moore’s vote is needed to accomplish a conservative outcome in important political issues including crime prevention, illegal immigration, pro-life, etc.

In response, Handler suggested that the president is “campaigning for a child [molester],” as well as his daughter-in-law Lara Trump, who recently invited Alabama voters to a Trump event taking place in Florida. In an earlier post, she also accused the entire Republican party of supporting a "child molestor," misspelling the term in her statement.

In either post, Handler failed to mention the fact that none of the allegations have been proven. Until (and if) proven guilty, Trump and other Republican politicians are simply focusing on Moore’s political beliefs, which align with conservative values.
