Candace Cameron Bure Has THIS TO Say About Cruz' Pick Of Fiorina As VP

Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz drew applause and ridicule yesterday when he revealed his pick for vice president — former candidate and Hewlett-Packard executive Carly Fiorina.

On "The View" today, token conservative co-host Candace Cameron Bure weighed in on Cruz's choice and the timing of his announcement.

"It's a 'Hail Mary,'" Candace said, "But I think it's worth a shot. He took away the headlines from Donald [yesterday] and is pointing in another direction so he doesn't have to talk about the 5-state loss against Donald. I think Carly's a smart choice...[but] I do think [selecting a VP is] a little too late and a little too early all at the same time."

"But he's not even running yet!' co-host Joy Behar interjected.

"That's what I mean," Candace replied.

Does she make a good point?
