Calling Every Parent: We Must Do Something Before It's Too Late

If you're a parent, you know how much your child's safety and security fills your mind. It can keep you up at night. That's why there's baby monitors and training wheels and any other way we can feel like we're doing something to help keep our children safe.

This is why it is so ludicrous that a transgender bill is seriously and successfully making it's way through America. The bill would allow people who identify with an opposite gender to use that public facility. It almost passed just last week in Houston (where the openly-gay mayor was firmly pushing it), but fortunately the citizens voted it down, thanks to the help of many pastors and public leaders.

But an Illinois school isn't so fortunate.Because of the litigated complaint of a boy who considers himself a girl, Obama's Department of Education is forcing the school to allow him into the girls' showers and locker rooms--or they will lose their federal funding. This is absurd.

But if we don't do anything, it will pass. And then, it will move to every school, every state, and reach outside of schools and into every public facility. This is the liberal agenda, and it is gravely endangering our children.

Need proof? Ontario put this into motion a couple of years ago and had a sexual predator, claiming to be a transgender woman, sexually abuse women in their own facilities, as Life Site News reports.

Then, Washington state did the same and had another terrible outcome. Life Site News shares:

"In 2012 a college in Washington state decided it would not prevent a 45-year-old man who presents himself as a transgender 'female' from lounging naked in a women’s locker room in an area frequented by girls as young as six. Teenage girls on a high school swim team were using the facilities when they saw 'Colleen' Francis deliberately exposing male genitalia through the glass window in a sauna. Police told one outraged mother that the university could not bar the biological male from the premises."

These incidents prove that letting boys in girls' bathrooms is not a good idea. Why would we show deference to a few while harming the majority? It doesn't make sense. And it's a huge danger to our children.

What do you think? What can we do? It's been suggested that parents withdraw their kids from school, vote out those passing the bills, and write letters to their officials. What do you think we should do, before this spreads to every state?
